August Flynn is a main character in the upcoming Monsters of Verity series. He is the son of a man trying to hold his city together, although he practically apeared out of thin air when he was 12. August is one of the three Soul-Eaters in the city who use music to bring the souls of their prey to the surface. He struggles to except his nature as a Sunai, and wishes to be human instead. [1]
